Haneda-Beijing Charter Service Launching In October

TOKYO (Nikkei)--Charter flight service between Haneda Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport will start on Oct. 25, Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Kazuyoshi Kaneko told reporters Tuesday.

There will be two flights a day from Haneda (Tokyo International Airport) to Beijing, as well as two from Beijing to Haneda. Most of the travelers are expected to be businesspeople.

The route was agreed on at a bilateral summit held in April.
